Forward Intelligence Assessment
Know What Matters. Know What to Do Next.
The Forward Intelligence Assessment combines information about your AR program, priorities, analyst relationships, and current challenges with relevant public research, insights from Forward’s surveys, our curated Forward Intelligence Library, and proven AR methods. AI helps organize and connect the evidence; a senior AR practitioner validates the findings, interprets what they mean for your situation, and identifies the risks, opportunities, and priorities that should guide your next move.
Forward Intelligence Assessments start at $10,000.
Understand Your Position Before Choosing a Solution
Every new Forward client relationship begins with a paid Forward Intelligence Assessment. Before recommending a project, retainer, Build & Repair engagement, or coaching program, we establish what is happening, what matters most, and where experienced intervention will deliver the greatest value.
The assessment gives your organization a clear, evidence-based view of its current analyst relations position. It brings together relevant information that may otherwise remain scattered across briefing notes, analyst feedback, research, relationship history, internal plans, market developments, and stakeholder perspectives.
Forward uses AI-enabled intelligence to gather, organize, compare, and connect approved information efficiently. A senior analyst relations practitioner then validates the evidence, interprets its meaning, identifies what requires attention, and determines which actions are most likely to improve your position.
AI provides speed and connective capability. Senior practitioners provide judgment, context, relationships, and strategic direction.
What We Examine
The assessment is tailored to your circumstances and may examine:
· Your current AR program and operating practices
· The strength and direction of priority analyst relationships
· Analyst perceptions, feedback, and emerging concerns
· Your market narrative and how consistently it is understood
· Internal alignment among AR, marketing, product, communications, sales, and executives
· Immediate risks, unresolved gaps, and upcoming opportunities
· Evaluation, research, briefing, inquiry, and engagement priorities
· The program’s cadence, governance, ownership, and repeatability
· Areas where senior attention can prevent avoidable delays or mistakes
What You Receive
Your completed assessment provides:
· A clear evaluation of your current AR position

A Paid Report That Is Yours to Use
The Forward Intelligence Assessment is a paid, stand-alone engagement—not a free diagnostic designed only to sell additional services.
Once completed, the assessment report is delivered to your organization for its use. You may use it to guide your internal AR team, align executives and stakeholders, establish priorities, support planning and budgeting, or begin implementing the recommendations independently. The standard price is $10,000 and covers one program, product area, business unit or urgent challenge. Complex/multi-product assessments scoped separately.
You may also provide the report to another analyst relations firm or qualified practitioner if you choose to work with a different partner. Continuing with Forward is entirely your decision. There is no obligation to purchase another service.
Forward’s proprietary methods and intellectual property remain protected, but the findings, priorities, recommendations, and completed report are available to your organization for its own business purposes.
Why the Assessment Matters
Organizations often select a service before fully understanding the problem. That can lead to unnecessary work, fragmented activity, or investment in a solution that does not address the underlying issue.
The Forward Intelligence Assessment creates a shared understanding before major work begins. Instead of spending months on broad discovery, your team starts with organized context, validated evidence, defined priorities, and a practical roadmap.
If you continue with Forward, the assessment becomes the intelligence foundation for your project, retainer, Build & Repair engagement, or coaching program. If you choose another path, you still retain a valuable report that can guide your next steps.
